Your 'Secret' Is Bullshit

The universe does not respond to your ‘energy’ in kind, and I'm incredibly exhausted by people who claim that it does.

All these ideas, whether from ‘The Secret’ or taught by self-styled second-hand gurus, are absolute shit and are absolutely dangerous notions, mostly used to make entitled people feel they ‘deserve’ their good fortunes and don’t need to feel responsible for the less fortunate because ‘they brought it upon themselves. All such notions collapse when confronted with a simple example of a starving child whose father may have been murdered and whose mother just raped and who will die while we blame his ‘vibrational energy’ for his misfortune. People who subscribe to this idiocy are even willing to justify such horrors by saying he brought this suffering upon himself by being evil in a precise incarnation. They will believe in karma, re-incarnation, invisible energy, and pink angels rather than accept the truth; much of the universe is random, the universe doesn’t give a damn what we do and is completely indifferent to us and our desires, and that unless we band together as human beings, we are condemning most of our race to unimaginable horrors.
